4 Must-See Places in Arizona
Are you traveling to Arizona soon? Or maybe you live there, and are looking for some ideas? I took a last minute trip to Arizona for a long weekend and must say I was quite impressed with everything Arizona had to offer! Here are the top 4 places I visited:
1. Devil’s Bridge

There are a few options for this trail. I’d recommend using All Trails to determine which may be best for you. The trails range from ~4 miles – 9.6 miles out-and-back.
- via Dry Creek Road and Mescal Trailhead is~ 4 miles
- via Chuck Wagon Trail is 4.7 miles
- via Deadman’s Pass is 9.6 miles
Free parking at Dry Creek Vista and shuttle service.
It gets steep towards the end but ABSOLUTELY worth it!
2. Horseshoe Bend

Horseshoe Bend is a very easy, paved trail – 1.5 miles out-and-back and was very crowded when I visited, but as you can see from my picture, you would never know.
There is no charge for entry, but there is a parking fee of $10
3. Antelope Canyon

I booked the Lower Antelope Canyon Hiking Tour with Dixie’s Lower Antelope Canyon Tours for less than $80 and lasted for a little under 2 hours. The pictures do no justice. The guide was very knowledgeable and ensured everyone had great pictures. Totally worth it.
4. West Fork of Oak Creek Trail

West Fork of Oak Creek may have been one of my favorite parts this trip. The trail is mostly shaded by trees and crosses the creek quite a bit, so there are lot’s of opportunities to get your feet wet. There are also areas deep enough for some swimming. Parking was $11 and fills up pretty quickly, so it may be best to get there early. The trail is about 6.5 miles out- and-back, but it would be worth it even if you did a mile.
